About this Workshop

This generation is very connected to social media, having access to an array of people with just a simple swipe of the finger that generations before them were not privy to.

Participants will learn to think about social media and technology as a tool for fostering meaningful dialogue that can activate a variety of mentorship opportunities. The provided framework will address the importance of mentorship with a mixture of storytelling and small group activities as well as our passion for mentorship.

We will help the participants tap into multiple sources of support (i.e. professors, colleagues, peers, religious leaders, friends, and family, etc). One of the major takeaways from this workshop will be identifying one potential mentor and successfully reaching out to them to get started on their mentee or mentor journey!
