About this Workshop
This workshop will focus on how studying and interning abroad provides first-gen college students with invaluable skills to apply to their personal as well as professional lives. This workshop will advise students on funding opportunities as well as detail the particular hardships of being a first-gen student abroad. Presenters will give insight into their programs as well as the fellowships that they have partaken in abroad. From funding opportunities to its impact on career trajectory, this workshop aims to promote abroad opportunities to first-gen students.
