About this Workshop
This presentation is intended for practitioners and will include extensive audience participation. The panelists are all chapter authors for an upcoming book from Stylus Publishing on the issue of intersectionality for first gen students. The book has chapters on first-gens and race, class, and gender. The panelists will present material from the book by reviewing their chapters and discussing examples of "good practice" in working with first-gens on campus.
