Malhy Mendez

Malhy is currently attending Bennington College where she will graduate with a B.A in Sociolinguistics and Psychology in December 2020. At Bennington, Malhy is an intern for the first generation, low income, and working-class student group (FLoW), where she offers support to her peers and collaborates in a multitude of community events for FLoW students. Malhy hopes to contribute to diversifying the linguistic dialectology in digital assistants in order to become accessible to ESL speakers' accents and broaden the abilities of speech recognition in technology.
