About this speaker
Colby King is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at USC Upstate and a member of the American Sociological Association’s Task Force on First-Generation and Working-Class Persons in Sociology. Before USC Upstate, he worked at Bridgewater State University where he founded Class Beyond the Classroom, a faculty and staff organization that created campus programming in support of first-generation and working-class students.
