About this speaker

Hi everyone, I hope you join my session. I am a second generation college student – my dad was the first in his family to go to college and as a result, he rose out of poverty to become a school principal. I have spent 20+ years coaching college students to success and love my work…this is my third - and favorite - career. At Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, I work primarily with first generation students, from low to moderate income families. I am Assistant Director in the Internship Program Office, advising first through senior year students and helping them find and build practical experience to explore career choices, network and gain skills. In my life off-campus, I live on Cape Cod, where my family has lived for 374 years, and I love to sail, walk the beach, and hang out with my feisty cat, Max, who may visit my session!
