A'Liah Moore

My name is A’Liah Moore. I am a student athlete at Monmouth University on the women’s soccer team. I am a first-generation student and a communications major with a concentration in video production and currently a junior. I am an activist and a proud member of the NAACP youth and college division of Ocean County NJ. Our mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons. I have spoken this summer at a local protest in Lakewood NJ, I was on a Black Lives Matter Panel for Monmouth, I talked on channel 12 news about my experience as a student athlete at Monmouth and featured in Monmouth University’s upcoming magazine. I am striving to be the version of myself and to use my voice and actions to make a difference in the world.
