Alex is a first-generation college student. They study Global Gender and Sexuality studies at the University at Buffalo, where they are a Ronald E. McNair and University Honors Scholar. They are currently in the process of applying to graduate programs in the field of Political Science and Human Rights, where their research will focus on political inequality and oppression of LGBTQ+ communities. They are also passionate about advocacy for low income and neurodivergent students in higher education.
